Inside ECO LUXE, the area set up in the Cavaniglia Pavilion that hosted IAFIL’s bio range of natural organic fibres: BIO and BIO NATURA are the central characters in a production chain that reflects the history behind organic cotton from tuft to thread, from thread to knit, and finally the finished garment.The IAFIL bios are interpreted in the designs of two great names in Italian fashion: GATTINONI – who has based all its spring/summer 2008 collection on organic, eco-compatible and eco-sustainable products. The IAFIL garment in the Eco Luxe area was presented on the catwalk at AltaRoma in the SS 09 collection and is made with BIO yarn: organic Peruvian pima cotton dyed with natural dyes and ICEA certifited by Istituto per la Certificazione Etica e Ambientale.
